125th Anniversary for Immigration to Hawaii and Heritage Tour

Our group left on Oct 9th to celebrate 125th Anniversary of Immigration to Hawaii and 40th Anniversary of sister statehood, also to enjoy the Tug of War festival in Okinawa. The tour started with numerous event one after another, we were so welcomed by local people, we all enjoyed and happy to experience a part of big celebration year. HUOA (Hawaii United Okinawa Association) conduct Heritage tour to visit Okinawan Roots to educate and re-strength the relationship with Hawaii and Okinawa. This is most meaningful for everyone participated the tour. The hotel we stayed was right on the Kokusai Street, easy to go shopping, easting and the best part was to see all the parade happening right there on the street. 2027 is going to be "The World Uchinanchu Festival" called "Taikai", please contact us is you want to be a part of the big event coming up!
