⛩️2026 Kyoto Flea Market Shopping Tour👘

This was our Kyoto Flea Market Tour held this past March!🌸

A big thank you to everyone who joined us! This tour is one of our most popular annual traditions and continues to be a favorite among our guests year after year. 🌟

As many of you know, our local people in Hawaii love shopping... so this tour is always a big hit! (Just kidding!) Make sure to bring a large suitcase—you'll probably need the extra space! 😆🛍️

This year, we visited two flea markets as well as a craft market. The markets were filled with unique, colorful, and one-of-a-kind items that you could spend hours browsing. From Japanese antiques and vintage treasures to handmade crafts, there was something for everyone. Many of the antique pieces can be displayed at home as decorations or even used as tableware. And since we're in Kyoto, there were also plenty of beautiful traditional textiles and woven goods to discover.

Another great attraction of this tour is that it offers much more than shopping. Guests also have the opportunity to experience Kyoto's unique culture and traditions.

One of the highlights is the kimono experience~👘　Guests can choose from a wide variety of vibrant kimonos and have them professionally dressed. Walking through Kyoto's historic streets in a kimono is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the city's traditional atmosphere.

Guests also have the chance to enjoy a rickshaw ride through Kyoto. These days, you may even see female rickshaw pullers, which always surprises some people! Don't worry, though—you'll be the one riding, not pulling! 😆

Another memorable activity was a mini Japanese umbrella-making experience. Guests created their own miniature umbrellas to take home, making for a unique and meaningful souvenir

This tour is also very beginner-friendly, as it involves minimal long-distance travel. With its relaxed pace, cultural experiences, and fantastic shopping opportunities, it's easy to see why this tour remains one of our most popular offerings year after year.
